In order to commemorate the 10th Annual Michigan Ballroom Dance Competition, we will feature NIGHT FINALS, the Michigan Rose Ball, for all Latin and Open events.  Dance in the spotlight in front of a packed crowd and be rewarded with not only ribbons but also trophies and gifts. It will be an amazing and unique experience for all competitors, and it promises to be the perfect finale for a great competition.  Come check it out so you can experience ballroom dancing the way it's meant to be!

Thanks to a venue change, the 10th Annual Michigan Competition will feature on-site catering.  No more trudging out in the cold in search of food - you will be able to purchase affordable meals during any brief break in the action to re-energize without stepping foot outside the building. 

In addition to the cafeteria, we are also exploring bringing in FREE food vendors. Our goal is to provide all competitors with extremely cheap (if not free) healthy food options throughout the entire competition. For updates, please refer back to the competition homepage.

The competition will be held in the gymnasium.

Capture the memories of your experience at Michigan Competition!  We will be shooting video from the press box throughout the competition so that you can receive instant video feedback on your performance via our website and YouTube.  This is a great way to record your progress as we kick off ballroom competition season and double check which of those figures really got you that callback!

Additionaly, we will be sending a DVD of the entire competition to each team for distribution amongst its dancers. There will be limited space available for other teams wishing to videotape the competition from the press box.
