The Ballroom Dance Team at the University of Michigan strives to make dancing more affordable to its members. This year, the team has budgeted over $5000 in competition subsidies and scholarships for students who join the team. Moreover, in the fall of 2009, we’ve also developed a new ballroom dancing scholarship that includes funding to help with lesson costs and dancing shoes. We want to make it easy for YOU to enjoy ballroom dancing!
 

The Ballroom Dance Team wants to make dancing affordable for YOU! The purpose of this scholarship is to help our team members cover lesson cost, team dues, or competition costs. 

Requirements:

·      Fill out an application form

·      Provide two reference forms from two team member (committee members --> Jeff Wojcik, Jennifer Chen, Peter Ung, Matthew Dusenberry are ineligible for writing references)

·      Committee members and board members are ineligible for applying for the scholarship

Deadline for Winter 2010: Friday, February 19^th, 2010. 

All team members and newcomers are encouraged to apply! Please download the application:

·      For team members (currently on the A, B, C, or Pre-C team)

·      For newcomers (any due paying member not currently on the A – Pre-C team)
