One of the Ballroom Dance Team’s primary goals is to reach out to the Ann Arbor and University communities that have invested so much in us. We showcase for other student organizations, host workshops of affordable, small-group dance lessons, and we have recently started a new project to give free ballroom dance lessons to Ann Arbor high schools. Every semester the Ballroom Team hosts a 4-hour workshop for the Ann Arbor community. These workshops are taught by the team's best dancers and instructors, and are designed to give aspiring dancers the best lessons possible. Everyone who participates in our workshop receives personal attention and instruction. Our next workshop is scheduled for February 7th, 2010 at the Michigan Union.
